About Me

Hi, I’m Marc Pickard, an experienced wedding and portrait photographer based in North Wales and offering services to a wide client base across North Wales, Cheshire and the surrounding areas.

I started my career in performing arts over 15 years ago.  Over the last 10 years, I have been lucky enough to ply my trade internationally, performing on cruise ships around the world. 

 

Inspired by the beautiful countries I was visiting, I purchased my first camera to document my travels and soon enough a passion for photography was born.  Since 2014 I have consistently worked on developing the creative and technical skills that help me to capture those perfect moments.

 

Working as a performer presented so many opportunities to create headshots and portraits for those around me, further enabling me to develop and grow as a photographer.  

 

When I'm not travelling, I have been lucky enough to work with Martin Woodcock Photography as an apprentice and second shooter.  Martin is a leading wedding photographer based out of Cardiff, and I continue to be thankful for his support and mentoring. 

 

In my spare time I still enjoy travelling and exploring with my kit on my back.  Shooting landscapes that capture the natural and dramatic beauty of some of my favourite places.  I offer many of these images for sale in the shop section of this website.
